This restaurant wanted to communicate an upscale sensibility that also was family friendly in their new takeout menu.
I used an offset rule on the larger brown graphic shapes to add a refined feel that echoes their monogram logo. The choice of a slab serif font for display type was meant to help keep it down-to-earth and approachable.
The large watermarked logo on the inside spread was a means of adding brand emphasis and visual interest without having the space for a food image.
