I helped this client launch a marketplace web app to connect construction firms and materials suppliers, eliminating inefficiencies, consolidating workflow and providing both sides with greater transparency.
There were many functional considerations to include in the design strategy, from differing visibility for the various user types, to allowing suppliers to vet their customers before selling to them, to accounting for price calculations in products that required numerous variables.
Aesthetically, the client came to me with a blank slate, so I developed a clean, bold look that threaded the needle between conservative industry sensibilities and the high-tech nature of the application itself.
